What is radiation?

The two types of radiation are ‘electromagnetic’ and ‘particle’ radiation.

Electromagnetic (EM) waves range from low-energy to high-energy. Low energy EM includes visible light, electrical, ultraviolet (UV) and infrared. With the exception of ‘UV’ are relatively harmless and, in fact, therapeutic such as the far infrared wave.

At the high energy end of EM are the ‘diagnostic and therapeutic x-rays’ like gamma rays. These are more powerful and exposure of the radiation must be carefully monitored and limited.

Here are the tips to reduce radiation load in your body.

1.      By incorporating into your diet the foods rich of chlorophyll which includes seaweed, spirulina, kelp, blue-green algae, and chlorella. These common foods contain rich minerals, such as iodine, that bind up the receptors site in your thyroid, so that your thyroid will not be harmed when you are exposed to any radioactive. These foods contain also selenium and other potent antioxidants that will prevent any destructive free radical activity and cancerous growth, as well as ‘chelating agents’ that bind to toxins and eliminate them from your body.

2.      Colorful foods full of antioxidants are also good to eat, especially blueberries, cherries, pomegranates, sweet potatoes and yams. These foods can be a great help and consistently (–foul word(s) removed–)ist your body in mopping up free radicals and toxins.

3.      Drink plenty of water from 6 to 8 gl(–foul word(s) removed–) preferably filtered or clean water daily.

4.      Fortified your body by increasing intake of vitamin C, E, and D to help antioxidant work well within your body. Or take ‘alpha lipoic acid’, a nutrient that protects cells from radiation damage.

5.      There are several herbs like peppermint, dandelion and chrysanthemum that can help the body detoxify.

6.      Detox programs with medically supervised by the experts can also help and support your body’s healthy cleansing function.

7.      If you notice your body of excess radiation exposure, there are medically supervised ‘chelation treatments’ using EDTA and other treatment methods.
