He is a two-division world champion currently holds the WBC Continental Americas Bantamweight Title. Former WBA Super Flyweight Interim World Champion, IBF World Flyweight Champion and IBO World Flyweight Champion.

If Montiel is rated by The Ring Magazine as the number seven pound-for-pound boxer in the world, Donaire is also rated by The Ring Magazine as the number five pound-for-pound boxer in the world.

Montiel bragged that he will surely win the fight, and if the rematch will happen, he made it again to a point that he will still win the fight. Wow…what a nice statement from him! This is the kind of a boxer someone like Manny Pacquiao would dare to beat because of his confidence…just like the big mouth Floyd Mayweather.

If Montiel is so sure he will beat Donaire, Donaire on the other hand remain quiet, he didn’t even mind what his opponent is talking about, not even avenge Montiel‘s word. I’ve been watching the videos of the two fighters and I am really amazed how Donaire beat his opponent. The speed plus power punch is a great advantage for Donaire. He could be the next Manny Pacquiao.

Montiel is a great fighter too but not as good as Donaire in my opinion. We cannot yet determine who will win but as I have seen in their previous fight, Donaire has the power to knock down Montiel within just a few rounds in contrary to what Montiel said that the fight won’t last in just 36 minutes.
