International Consumer Electronics Show is an event organized by the Consumer Electronics (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation. CES is a major technology-related show that previews the latest products, gadgets, development and innovation in the field of consumer electronics. It occurs January 6-9 at Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A.

For the last few years this event shows significant contributions by providing forecasts for the next big thing in consumer electronics. Different technological companies are eagerly waiting for the said event. Almost all of the big names in consumer electronics are well represented.

In his personal predictions, 2011 will surely be dominated by Tablets. There are more than 80 tablets expected to make its debut at the International Consumers Electronics Shows.

CES 2011 highlights 11 incluedes the year of 3D, this included 3D content, hardware and services. This year will show the emergence of 3DTVS with internet connection. We will expect for the TV to be incorporated with different internet related gadgets. Different apps will continue to emerged in the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show.

Innovation is one of the driving force that keeps the consumer electronics a vital part in our society. It is often considered as a fulfillment of an American Dream. Green initiatives are also gaining momentum in consumer electronics.

The CES will be attended also by some famous personalities including sports heroes, politicians, Hollywood celebrities, visionaries, entrepreneurs and businessmen.

Gary Shapiro, CEO of Consumer Electronics (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation is quoted as saying “The 2010 CES will be a phenominal show across all measures, with 2,700 exhibitors launching some 20,000 new technology products. There will be more innovation this week than the rest of the years combined”.
