Rigoberto Tiglao spoke on the claims of former Pres. Fidel V. Ramos.
RIGOBERTO – Writer Rigoberto Tiglao gave his opinion on the claim of former Pres. Fidel V. Ramos on the burial of the late dictator, his response to the call of Imee Marcos, and his act of distributing the signed agreement between him and the family in 1993.
The issues regarding the Martial Law declared by the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr., the cry of the victims, and Marcos’ surprise burial at Libingan ng mga Bayani continue to elicit reactions from the people.
Many political personalities have aired out their disappointment over the surprise burial. Two of those are Sen. Risa Hontiveros and Vice Pres. Leni Robredo.
Significant persons in other field like Jim Paredes of Apo Hiking Society has also expressed his stand on the issue.
On the other side, Supreme Court spokesperson Theodore Te expressed that no order prohibits the burial of the late dictator based on a previous report.
Another political personality who has expressed his side regarding the burial and the Martial Law issues is former Pres. Fidel V. Ramos.
