Manila, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte reveal that De Lima’s driver is her Lover and the one who was collecting money for her during the campaign. Duterte, in his speech said, “Her driver herself, who was her lover, was the one also collecting money for her during the campaign.
Media asked if the PNP has already filed a case to the senator’s driver regarding to the issue. Bato said that it might be used as a personal issue against the PNP. “Hindi kami nakikialam diyan,” he said.
Director General of the Philippine National Police, Ronaldo Maradela Rosa known as “Chief Bato,” said that the PNP does not meddle to the issue of the senator and her driver who was alleged as her lover.
PNP was rumored to have a surveillance photo of the senator’s house and the activities of the driver together with the senator as a basis of the declaration and revelation of the President.
However, Bato strongly denied that the source was from with them. “Ewan ko kung sino, pero sa amin wala, wala ako, wala, wala ako,” he said.
He also added that the PNP has no rule of providing the details to the President. “Maraming source ang Presidente- marami siyang source. Hindi lang PNP.”
He urged that the PNP is focused on dealing with the lawless people in the country. However, they will definitely do their job if the president will order them to conduct an investigation regarding the issue.
