Billy Crawford Sang First Pokemon Movie Theme Song
First Pokemon Movie Theme Song – A few people might know that the talented Filipino performer, Billy Crawford sang the theme song of the first-ever Pokemon movie ever made in 1999.
In a report by ABS-CBN, Filipino performer Billy Crawford joined Christina Aguilera, *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Vitaminc C, Aaron Carter, and M2M in singing the official soundtrack of the said movie.
Crawford was only 17 when he sang the official theme song of the movie called Pokemon Theme 2, for Pokemon: The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back in 1998.
During the interview with Crawford at the movie premier back then in California, he granted the request of the interviewer by singing a part of the said popular song, ‘I Wanna Be The Very Best’. Also, he revealed that his favorite Pokemon was Pikachu, among the most famous Pokemon in the TV show.
