Reports say that two men were playing the virtual game in Tsz Wan Shan Estate Central Playground when they hit two Hong Kong men who stood in front of them.

Both pairs got into a noisy argument but later parted ways.

However, the two Hong Kong guys returned soon afterwards bringing with them ten or more mask-wearing men who carried knives and sticks.

The masked mean were reportedly aging 20 to 25 years old.

The gang surrounded the players who were reportedly of South Asian descent who immediately started running away. The gang ran after them to the corner of Wai Wah street where one of the Pokemon Go players reportedly slipped and fell.

He was then attacked by the knife-wielding men and sustained injuries to his forehead and back.

The incident caught the eyes of the passersby and made them call the police. Upon seeing the uniformed men approaching, the perpetrators fled in separate directions.

It was later discovered that the victim was a 23-year-old man of Pakistani descent. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment of the wounds he sustained.

The investigation is in progress and no arrests have been made as of this time.

In less than a month, Pokemon Go has made teenagers, even the aged but abled ones, addicted to the game.

But not everybody is so happy about it because in Japan, the local government of Hiroshima wants the monsters out of their Hiroshima Bombing Memorial Site. The Japan Supreme Court also stows the monsters away their ground because the theme does not match the formal ambiance of the judiciary. Also, the operator of the Fukushima Nuclear Plant which was devastated by tsunami on 2011 appealed to spare their plant from monsters because of the intense level of radiation.
