Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza, the phenomenal member of the Twitter-trending love team, AlDub, got involved in a serious hacking incident on her social media account. Alden Richards confirmed through his verified Twitter account that Maine Mendoza’s Instagram account was hacked.
On early morning of Wednesday, February 24, Maine Mendoza’s Instagram account was compromised and all her photos disappeared on her feed and the account appeared to be on private mode.
Alden Richards, the other half of the love team, AlDub, came to rescue and uses his social media connections and discovered the real culprit of the attack to Yaya Dub’s Instagram account.
The love team of Yaya Dub was able to discover the hacker’s Snapchat account and posted the Snapcode of the attacker on his Twitter to storm the culprit’s account with messages and restore Maine Mendoza’s access to her Instagram with the help of Snapchat support.
Alden Richards revealing of the hacker’s identity and his supporters flooded the Snapchat with messages, urged the hacker to stop what he/she was doing and left a hasty note on Maine’s Instagram account, apologizing and admitting to wrongdoing. Maine Mendoza’s Instagram account has more than 2.2 million followers, right now she retains access to her account.
