The top rating reality show on national TV, Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) 737 became the hottest topics online due to the controversial “Bromance” happening inside the famous PBB house. The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has summoned officials of PBB over numerous feedback and complaints.
According to MTRCB, Raymund Dizon, business unit head of ABS-CBN Corporation, together with seven program officers, was invited to a “developmental conference” on July 9 at 2:00 PM at the censors board’s office in Quezon City as noted by Ricardo Solomon Jr., co-chairperson of the MTRCB hearing and adjudication committee, said in a memorandum.
Based upon the memorandum the co-chairperson of the MTRCB hearing and adjudication committee, stated that “In the said conference, we would like to know what safety measures you have in place,” Salomon said.
He said this would “guarantee that no participants in your program is exposed to situation, challenges and experiences which may be prejudicial to his or her well-being, or which may have a negative impact on the youth and other audiences who will be watching the show,” he said.
The controversy started when rumors came out of a booming romance swirl between the 18-year-old Karlo Lorenzo “Kenzo” Gutierrez and 12-year-old Bailey Thomas May inside the famous Pinoy Big Brother house.
