In a press conference for his upcoming movie “Feng Shui 2,” CocoMartin, dubbed as the “Prince of Philippine Independent Films,” said acting award is the fruit of his hard work every time he works for a project.

Pero during the process, siyempre naglu-look forward ka na sana ‘etong pelikulang ito, sana may katuturan,” he said.

Recalling his career as an indie actor, Coco Martin said that he does mind his salary because what’s important for him is the success of the film, eithere he or the film will gain an award.

Recently, Coco Martin was named as the Best Drama Actor for his performance on the top-rating series “Ikaw Lamang” at the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for TV.

Meanwhile, Coco Martin is now busy promoting the upcoming horror film “Feng Shui 2” with Kris Aquino. Directed by Chito Roño, the movie will be released on December 25, 2014, as part of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
