Kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola surprised her ex-boyfriend JM De Guzman during the actor’s birthday party last September 9, 2014. The actress revealed during an interview with entertainment website Push, that she went to JM De Guzman’s who celebrated his 26th birthday last September.
According to the 21-year-old Jessy Mendiola, who detailed her surprised visit to her former boyfriend. She noted that she just finished shooting that day when her friends told her to drop by JM De Guzman’s birthday party to surprise the actor.
She was quoted as saying “Oo, nagpunta ako nong birthday niya, nagkataon kasi noon na kakatapos ko lang ng shooting, tapos siyempre alam ko birthday niya. Sabi ko, ‘Oh pasabi na lang happy birthday.’ Parang sabi nila, ‘Hindi daan ka dito sa birthday niya, sa bahay ng tita niya,'” Jessy Mendiola revealed.
Jessy Mendiola noted that she was initially hesitant to visit JM De Guzman because for such a long time they haven’t seen each other yet. During their arrival at the birthday party of JM De Guzman, the celebrant was really surprised because nobody had told him that Jessy Mendiola will visit the actor.
Although the actress stated that they haven’t seen each other for a long time, Jessy Mendiola clarified that it was not the first time that they saw each other since the parted ways and end their romantic relationship.
The actress stated during the exclusive interview with Push, that she is genuinely happy that she and JM De Guzman have remained friends even after their publicized breakup.
