The Voice Kids ultimate winner and grand champion, Lyca Gairanod dedicated a song to her idol, the 19-year-old Daniel Padilla, who surprised the young singer-turned actress during an ASAP episode. During the sidelines of Lyca Gairanod’s filming for the primetime series “Hawak Kamay” on Thursday the young singer performed a few lines of Daniel Padilla’s “Nasa Iyo Na Ang Lahat.”
The 9-year-old singer, Lyca Gairanod admitted during the ABS-CBN interview that she considers Daniel Padilla as her “crush” in showbiz. During the interview, the entertainment media were surprised when Lyca hurriedly fixed herself when she was asked for her message to Daniel Padilla, who is considered as one of the most popular young actor of our generations.
On her message to Daniel Padilla, Lyca noted that she wants to work with her idol, Daniel Padilla alongside Kathryn Bernardo, the on-screen partner of the country’s Teen King. Lyca Gairanod already made a name for herself not also for her singing abilities but also for her acting talent as shown on her acting debut in MMK.
The former scavenger-turned celebrity, Lyca Gairanod, also noted that she hopes to work with “It’s Showtime” co-host Anne Curtis who managed to fill up the Araneta Coliseum during her solo concert despite her shortcomings as a singer.
Lyca Gairanod is now busy not only with her singing engagement but also with her acting career. She is now busy with her upcoming solo album under MCA Universal which will feature her winning song “Nandito Ako,” as one of the tracks on her debut album.
Aside from her upcoming concert with Lani Misalucha, and The Voice Kids runner-up Darren Espanto, she is also part of the Vice Ganda-starrer “Praybeyt Benjamin 2,” which will compete in the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival this coming December.
