Paolo Onesa’s “Skyfall’ Most Downloaded Song on iTunes Ranked No. 1

The Voice Ph surprise contestant, Paolo Onesa, proved that he deserved his spot to advance to the next round of The Voice of the Philippines after the Sepember 8 Live Show with his awesome performance of the song “Skyfall” which currently ranked no. 1 as the most downloaded song on iTunes.

Paolo Onesa’s Performance Video:

Paolo Onesa performed his own version of the song popularized by Adelle, “Skyfall,” the theme song of the James Bond film of the same title. Skyfall topped the list just hours after Sunday’s Live Show at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila and aired live via ABS-CBN.

The version of Paolo Onesa, toppled the consistent number one song on iTunes, Katy Perry’s “Roar,” prior to that, just minutes after the show, the iTunes Top 10 was dominated by the songs performed on The Voice PH with Darry Shy’s “Balita” at number 1, but those were just short lived as they were off the list after a few hours, only Onesa’s song remained.

As of posting time, Skyfall ranked higher compared to fellow The Voice Ph performance of Patti Austin’s “If I Believed” at no. 3. Paolo’s rival and one of the early favorites in The Voice, Lee Grane’s performance “Losing My Religion” also ranked at the top 12.
