Ranidel De Ocampo Philippine Cup Finals MVP

Smart Gilas mainstay and current star player of Talk ‘N Text, Ranidel de Ocampo, captured the Philippine Cup Finals Most Valuable Player after a series of strong performance in the Finals against Rain or Shine.

Ranidel de Ocampo was unstoppable not only in the inside but his lethal outside jump shot proved to be one of the most effective weapon of award-winning Coach Norman Black.

The Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters was able to sweep the Rain or Shine as they captured the first-ever All Filipino Cup Grand Slam. Tropang Texters defeated the Elasto Painters with the final score at 105-82 in Game Four.

De Ocampo averaged with a total of 18 points and 8 rebounds in four games. Although he failed to win the Conference MVP title held by team mate Jason Castro, Ranidel brought home the Finals MVP trophy.
