Transition “Roadable Aircraft” had been granted by the US Department of Transportation special consideration for a flying vehicle. The company Terrafugia had received a grant of all of the special exemptions it had requested from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). 

The exemptions allows the “Transition Flying Car” to use tires that are appropriately rated for highway speeds. The Transition “Roadable Aircraft” was made by an aviation company founded by pilots and engineers from the M(–foul word(s) removed–)achusetts Insttitue of Technology. 

Terrafugia a Latin word which means “escape from land” had already tested the vehicle since 2009. The company was founded in the year 2006. Its main mission is to provide innovative solutions to the challenges facing aviation.

The “Transition Roadable Aircraft” will provide the pilot the convenience of dual-purpose vehicle. It can fold its wings while driving in an ordinary highways. It has a modern personal airplane platform.

The Flying Car had a hefty tag price at around  $194,000 more than 8.3 million pesos. The company had accepting $10,000 or more than 420, 000 pesos  for the first models to be sold.
