Marcelito Pomoy, one of the most popular grand finalists of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2, once again he caught the attention of the live viewers at Araneta Coliseum. His rendition of “The Prayer” was so astonishing that Judge Kris Aquino considered him as a show stopper.
The duet version of “The Prayer” was one of the songs performed by Celine Dion and Josh Groban during the year 1998. Celine Dion had also performed “The Prayer” with Italian Tenor Andrea Bocelli. “The Prayer” had also won as Best Original Song during the Golden Globe Awards 1999 for the movie “Quest for Camelot.”
Marcelito Pomoy captivated the audience with his performance, a spectacular voice of Celine Dion came out from nowhere. His rendition of the song was so amazing that the three judges Kris Aquino, FMC and Ai-ai de las Alas gave him a standing ovation.
