One of the young celebrities in the Philippine showbiz industry who caught the public’s attention is young actor Marco Gumabao. He was part of several movies including the films Para Sa Broken Hearted (2018), Just A Stranger (2019, and Hindi Tayo Pwede (2020).
Marco Gumabao is known in two fields now – acting and modeling. Just A Stranger, the Marco Gumabao and Anne Curtis movie in 2019, was a hit. In the modeling field, he was chosen as the lead model of Bench.
However, only little about Marco Gumabao’s family background is known to the public. His parents were both in the showbiz industry before and one of his sisters is a beauty queen.
Marco Gumabao’s family background hails from being the son of Dennis Roldan and Loli-Imperial Gumabao. The couple has five children and the actor has three other half-siblings.
Dennis Roldan, Mitchell Gumabao in real-life, is a former actor and politician. He was a Quezon City councilor in 1988 and a QC 3rd District congressman from 1992 to 1995. He’s also a basketball player and a businessman.
Loli, the mother of Marco, is a former member of the IT Girl. She is one of the most popular members of the group during her time.
Undeniably, Marco Gumabao’s background has not hooked much attention as the actor made his own name in the industry although both his parents were previously in the same field.
With regards to his educational background, Marco Gumabao attended Ateneo High School for his secondary education. In college, he was a psychology major in De La Salle University.
