JC Alcantara’s Hello Stranger Project Surprises Family
JC ALCANTARA’S HELLO STRANGER – The young actor shared how he told his family about his new project.
One of the projects that caught attention this 2020 is Hello Stranger. It featured the story of two college boys who crossed paths and whose bond went deeper than being friends. They were paired up for a task and got very different personalities.
The said project produced by Black Sheep Productions is top-billed by JC Alcantara and Tony Labrusca. It was directed by Peterson Vargas and it premiered on YouTube and Facebook last June 24, 2020.
Tony Labrusca’s character in the said project is Xavier de Guzman. He is a star basketball player in their college. JC Alcantara’s Hello Stranger role is Mico Ramos, a nerdy college student.
Tony Labrusca and JC Alcantara’s Hello Stranger characters had to work together for a project amid the lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Their online conversations went beyond normal friendship.
Other cast members of the series include Vivoree Esclito, Patrick Quiroz, Miguel Almendras, Gillian Vicencio, and Meann Espinosa. Its pilot episode earned over one million views.
Based on an article on ABS-CBN, when it comes to telling his family about Hello Stranger, he just told them to watch his new project. After seeing the project, they called him and expressed their surprise but they supported him.
“’Ayon, nagulat sila. Tumawag sila sa akin. ‘Uy…Si Tony pala ang ka-love-team mo dito?’ ‘Opo.’ Nagulat lang, pero support naman sila,” JC Alcantara said.
