In 2013, one of the television series that hooked a lot of people is My Husband’s Lover, a dram TV series under the GMA-7 Network. It featured the story of a woman who married a man who is in love with another man.

Tom Rodriguez‘s My Husband’s Lover‘s role is Vicente “Vincent” Soriano. He has a high school best friend, Eric del Mundo played by Dennis Trillo, who shares the same gender preference as his but they parted ways as the latter had to fly abroad.
Amid his brokenness, Vincent met Lally Agatep, the character of Carla Abella in My Husband’s Lover. He fell in love with her and got her pregnant while they were still in college.
Vincent and Lally married and raised a beautiful family. However, there was always lacking in their relationship. Meanwhile, both tried their best to make it work while the wife was clueless of her husband’s real gender preference.
Things became very tight upon the return of Eric, the former lover of Vincent. Both of them were still in love with each other and Lally was initially clueless of their past. Vincent tried to stay away from Eric but his wife wanted his friend to be the architect of the house they’re building.
Tom Rodriguez‘s My Husband’s Lover role is visibly a challenging one for any actor who is straight in real life. Meanwhile, visibly, he was able to pull it off and as well as Dennis Trillo who also faced the same huge challenge.
