One of the controversial relationships in the Philippine showbiz industry that hooked a lot of people was the romantic affair between John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna.
In October 2017, John Lloyd filed for an indefinite leave from showbiz. During that time, one of his ongoing projects was Home Sweetie Home, a sitcom aired every Saturday by ABS-CBN. A lot of people were anxious about the show considering that he has the lead role.
After the news broke out, John Lloyd Cruz was spotted with actress Ellen Adarna – who also had a stint in Home Sweetie Home. They traveled together within and outside of the country.
While John Lloyd is an established celebrity in the showbiz industry and has surely saved a lot from a successful career, Ellen is coming from a rich family in Cebu. Her family owns chains of hotels and condominiums.
The John Lloyd Cruz–Ellen Adarna relationship was not directly confirmed by neither of the two (2) celebrities. Meanwhile, a lot of things showed that they’re officially together.
Rumors were put to rest when John Lloyd and Ellen went home to Cebu, the home town of the actress. They spent most of their time their as they await the coming of a baby boy.
In July 2018, it was confirmed that Ellen has given birth to her first-born with John Lloyd. The couple named their baby boy Elias Modesto – his second name is after the actress’ father who died a month before she gave birth.
However, the John Lloyd Cruz–Ellen Adarna relationship did not last long. The two (2) celebrities separated and they are currently co-parenting Elias. The actor is vocal that their son is his biggest happiness.
Ellen Adarna is now in a relationship with actor Derek Ramsay. She has already introduced him to Elias.
