Cesar Montano’s Personal Background
In real-life, the actor is Cesar Manhilot who was born on August 1, 1962 with his paternal roots in Baclayon, Bohol. His father is a lawyer and his mother is a Seventh-Day Adventist Church member and he is the 5th of the seven (7) children of the couple.
Cesar grew up in Sta. Ana, Manila and is known to the industry and his friends as “Buboy”. He took his elementary education at Sta. Ana Elementary School and his secondary education at Mariano Marcos Memorial High School. In college, he took Mass Communication at Lyceum of the Philippines University in Intramuros, Manila.
Cesar’s Showbiz Career
Early in his career, Cesar started as a stuntman who eventually became a lead actor. In 1993, the actor filmed his first action movie, Leonardo Delos Reyes: Alyas Wayway, which was directed by filmmaker Toto Natividad. It was followed by several projects and he even played as Jose Rizal in a biopic of the Philippine National Hero in 1998.
Cesar Montano-Sunshine Cruz
The known relationship of Cesar was with his second wife, actress Sunshine Cruz. They married in 2000 and their marriage of the two (2) celebrities was blessed with three (3) daughters – Angeline Isabelle, Samantha Angeline, and Angel Francheska.
However, in 2013, the marriage of the two (2) celebrities arrived to separation. Allegedly, it was due to infidelity in the part of Cesar. Their children are living with the actress.
