Miguel Suarez Performs “Hallelujah” Joins the Elite 3-Chair-Turner List

Miguel Suarez performed one of Bamboo’s most popular hit song titled “Hallelujah” and caught the attentions of all three judges as he made it to the elite list of 3-chair-turners in the country’s most prominent singing competition for Kids on national TV, The Voice Kids Season 3.

The young artist from Antipolo City impressed the three judges and coaches of The Voice Kids PH namely Coach Bamboo, Coach Lea and Sharon Cuneta.

Coach Bamboo was so impressed with the performance of Miguel Suarez as he was quoted as saying “Thank you for choosing that song. It’s a song of hope, and it’s a big part of what I do and who I am,” Mañalac told Suarez.

Lea Salonga also tried to convince Suarez to join her team but before that she gave the young aspiring singer some words of encouragement “Napaka-exciting ng naging performance mo dito. It was very electrifying na talagang napakanta mo lahat ng audience dito. Kaming tatlo, sabay sabay kumakanta, kasabay mo.”

At the end of Suarez performance and the time when he was asked on who he wants to guide him on his journey, he eventually chose to be part of Kamp Kawayan of Coach Bamboo.

During the weekend episode of The Voice Kids Season 3, Coach Bamboo was able to recruit three new artists namely MiguelSuarez, Kenneth Bardinas and Agatha Cruz. Lea Salonga, on the other hand, recruited Joshua Oliveros, while Beatrice Mariel Ong became a part of Cuneta’s team.

Carmela Lorzano Turns 3-Chairs in The Voice with Her Rendition of “Tomorrow”

The Voice Kids of the Philippines Season 3 featured some of the country’s youngest and most talented singers showcasing their singing prowess on national TV and one of them is no other than the 7-year-old girl dressed in full Annie costume named Carmela Lozano. Right after her rendition of the song “Tomorrow” the three judges turned their respective chairs for her but eventually she chooses the team she wants most.

During the Saturday’s edition of the popular The Voice Kids singing competition on national TV, the 7-year-old kid from Batangas belted the song from the hit musical “Annie,” during the blind audition held on Saturday night.

The vocal prowess of Carmela Lorzano earned the nod of the all three coaches, Lea Salonga, Bamboo and Sharon Cuneta. Aside from Lorzano the other aspiring singer who secured the elite 3-chair membership includes Krisha Aler who joined Team Sharon Cuneta.

Coach Lea Salonga was so impressed with the performance of Lozano as she stated “A voice like that out of a seven-year-old? I love your voice. I love your face. I love your look. I love your song choice!” Salonga said. Salonga added that Lorzano was able to transform the song into her own. Salonga sang “Tomorrow” when she played the title-role of Annie in Manila in 1980.

Coach Bamboo on his part was quoted as saying “I know that song. Naiintindihan ko ‘yung kantang ‘yun. I know it’s a hard choice. So, pick me,” Bamboo told Lorzano. In order to convince Lorzano to join his Kamp Kawayan team he even performed his own version of the song “Tomorrow” but he failed to convince Lorzano to join his team.

Meanwhile, the Megastar has these words for the young singer. “Ang masasabi ko lang, nakakabilib ang boses mo. Ang ganda-ganda ng mukha mo. Napaka-crystal clear ng (boses mo) ‘yung mataas, parang gusto ko na umakyat sa heaven.”

At the end of Lorzano’s performance on Saturday night, she decided to join her idol the veteran Broadway superstar Lea Salonga.

Krisha Aler Joins The Voice Kids 3-Chair-Turner Singing “Through the Rain”

Aspiring young singer Krisha Aler joined the elite list of three-chair-turner in the Philippines most popular reality singing search for kids, “The Voice Kids” on Saturday night after she impressed all three judges with her rendition of the song “Through the Rain.”

Veteran Pinoy singers and recording artists Lea Salonga, Bamboo and Sharon Cuneta turned their respective chairs for the 10-year-old aspiring young singer from Marikina City who impressed them with her rendition of the song popularized by Mariah Carey.

According to Lea Salonga, Krisha Aler’s rendition is a sweet voice to her ears as she was quoted saying “Ang galing ng tenga mo. Ang ganda ng boses mo. Ibang klase ka. Sana sa akin ka mapunta,” Salonga said.

Pinoy rock icon Coach Bamboo on her part was also impressed with Krisha’s rendition of the classic song by saying “What I like is your vocal quality. Sa akin, noong tumataas ka na, that was parang the icing on the cake na lang. Kasi sa akin, I believed in you, doon sa umpisa pa lang. You have something,” Bamboo told Aler.

Although Krisha Aler was praised by both Lea Salonga and Coach Bamboo she decided to join the team of Sharon Cuneta.
