Former PBB big winner Melai Cantiveros finally won in the top-rating show of ABS-CBN every weekend, “Your Face Sounds Familiar” as she impressed the judges with her portrayal of Elizabeth Ramsey on Sunday’s episode of the show. The performance of Melai received a standing ovation not only from the live studio audience but also from the three judges.

The comedian Melai Cantiveros brought home the P100,000 weekly prize for her rendition of the country’s “Queen of Rock and Roll,” Elizabeth Ramsey. Ther performance of Melai also got praises from the original Elizabeth Ramsey who was with the audience during the show.
According to Melai Cantiveros, she will be donating half of her prize to the Diocese of Marbel Alay Kapwa Social Action. The comedian who became popular with her Visayan accent performed the Visayan classic “Waray-Waray.”
Right after the performance of Mela, judge Jed Madela was quoted as saying “What can I say? Usually, whenever we see the performances, nagsusulat kami ng notes, But this time, wala akong naisulat kasi I don’t want to miss any minute, any second of your performance. That performance was spotless. For me, the best performance you’ve ever done,” Jed Madela said.
Judge Gary V., on his part stated that “Melai, you were awesome tonight. You always are, pero ngayon, talagang, pareho kami ni Jed, wala kaming naisulat dahil it’s just perfect. Perfect,” Gary Valenciano said.
The Mega Star Sharon Cuneta also told Melai Cantiveros that she’ll be receiving eight points from the veteran singer, ahead of the announcement of scores from all the three judges of the show.
