In a television interview, the older Veloso, unwavering, addressed their stand.

“Hindi po muna magso-sorry. (I won’t say sorry yet),” Celia said early.

When news anchor, Anthony Taberna asked Cesar he had the same sentiment with her wife.

“Ganun na rin po,” Cesar said.

Celia, however added that they will completely ‘forgive’ the Aquino administration if their daughter is already free and back in the Philippines.

Earlier, the couple expressed thanks to the administration for its effort in Mary Jane’s 11th hour reprieve.

“Kung may nagawa po talaga sya ay maraming salamat (If he really did something [in saving our daughter] then we say thank you,” Cesar said.

The family sentiments against with the government rooted when it moved ‘in the last two minutes’, as Cesar explained in the interview.

Celia, in the other hand, cleared Migrante International and other organizations for the alleged influence for the refusal of apology.

“Wala pong nagtuturo sa amin. May sarili po kaming pag-iisip. (No one is teaching us [to say what we want to say]. We have our own minds),” said Celia.

The president as said by Communications Secretary Herminio “Sonny” Coloma is not angry at all to the Veloso family.

“Hindi po galit. Walang ganoong pakiramdam (He’s not angry. There’s no such thing.),” Coloma told Taberna.

Coloma also explained that the President understood what the situation the family is in.

“Lubos ang pag unawa ng ating gobyerno sa kanilang sitwasyon. Kung anuman ang makakabawas sa kanilan pinapasan. Napakahalaga ng buhay ni Mary Jane. Nandito po tayo para gampanan ang katungkulan,” disclosed Coloma.
