Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters defeated the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in the Game 4 of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Best-of-Seven Finals series with the final score of 99-92 and even the series with 2-wins and 2-losses. The highlights video and complete replay video of the game is available below.
Gilas Pilipinas mainstay Ranidel de Ocampo led the Tropang Texters on their Game 4 victory, scoring 33 points and 5 five rebounds as he connected 14 of his 20 field-goal shots, including three triples and tied his career best in scoring.
According to Ranidel de Ocampo, he took the opportunity to shine in Game 4 when the Elasto Painters defense was focused on Jayson Castro and their import Ivan Johnson who scored with 25 points and 19 markers respectively.
The Elasto Painters also suffered a low scoring ball game after the Tropang Texters made a tight defense with their scorers, as Talk ‘N Text keep the scores below 100 points. The scorecard at 99-92 was also the same with the Game 1 scores when Talk ‘N Text defeated the Elasto Painters.
During the Game Four of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals, a commotion happened when Jireh Ibanez and Matt Ganuelas-Rosser came close to blows while JR Quinahan joined the fray and throwed the ball at Ganuelas’ face. All three players were ejected from the game to prevent further retaliation.
