SUV Injured 13 Motorists After Ramming 8 Vehicles and 4 Motorcycles in Mandaluyong City

13 motorists suffered injuries after an SUV reportedly rammed 8 vehicles and 4 motorcycles in Mandaluyong City.

After 8 a.m., an SUV drove into numerous vehicles along Shaw Boulevard and San Miguel. Tuesday. Those who were hit came to a complete stop since the traffic light at that intersection was red.

Following the incident, the SUV reversed and restarted, colliding with another car and a motorcycle. The SUV drove into eight cars and four motorcycles, according to Mandaluyong Police. However, prior to the videotaped event, the SUV was claimed to have crashed with others on another route.

Meanwhile, the owner of the SUV’s camp is settling with the victims. The SUV was transporting the 19-year-old student and the driver of their family. The SUV driver is alleged to have lost control of the steering wheel, forcing it to collide with the automobiles.

As a result of the incident, up to 13 people were hurt, based on the report. Atty Paul Roldan, the legal counsel of the SUV’s owner, who is also the father of the student passenger and the employer of the SUV driver, had already spoken with the victims.

“So far there were 13 who submit their statements. We managed to come to terms to four of them whose vehicles sustained minor damages. There are still some who are in the hospitals which we intend to help also we already talked to the relatives. As per my information, two were not able to come here today because they are still in the hospital, there were three who’ve got admitted but were discharged,” said Roldan.

Roldan clarified that they are also in contact with the relatives of the other two hospitalized victims. Meanwhile, Roldan denied that his 19-year-old son was behind the wheel of the SUV.

The inquest into the death of the SUV driver, Dominador Varga, will begin tomorrow. Varga is charged with reckless imprudence, which resulted in several physical injuries and property damage.
