The country’s most powerful leader, President Benigno Simeon Aquino III might announce his Presidential bet for the upcoming 2016 national elections. Pres. Aquino will name his successor who will continue his dreams of fulfilling the “Tuwid na Daan” program.
Presidential Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr., declined to elaborate so he would not preempt the interview made by one of the world’s leading news media organization, Agence France-Presse.
Meanwhile, in a separate report by the Philippine Star, Pres. Aquino reportedly told his anointed one – DILG Secretary Mar Roxas – to try to arrest his survey ratings. President Aquino told Mar Roxas to do something about his ratings.
Some reports posted online also stated that Secretary Mar Roxas will resign in June to prepare for his presidential bid under the administration party, Liberal Party of the Philippines headed by Pres. Aquino.
Right after news broke out that the DILG Secretary will be resigning from his post, he took to Twitter and post the following message: “Maraming salamat sa lahat ng mayroon interes sa aking mga plano. Wala akong plano na mag-resign sa ngayon.”
