Jayson Gainza is happy to be a Kapuso
Comedian Jayson Gainza expressed gratitude to GMA-7 after he officially signed a contract with his new home network in November last year.
Jayson rose to fame when he joined the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother. Through that, he was able to do several shows on ABS-CBN. He also did some movie stints.
However, in 2021, Jayson was one of the artists who signed a contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center. Prior to the contract signing, he was already part of John Lloyd Cruz’s sitcom Happy ToGetHer.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Jayson Gainza was asked the thing that he is most thankful for in 2022. “Siyempre ‘yung nagtiwala sa akin ‘yung Kapuso.” the comedian said.
It was indeed a blessing for him to continue doing his showbiz stints. “Pinagpapasalamat ko sa panginoon ‘yun na may nagtitiwala sa akin. Masaya ako sa ginagawa ko, masaya din naman sila sa outcome ng ginagawa ko,” Jayson said.
Aside from the opportunity to work, he is also thankful that he was given a chance to re-invent himself. “Na-re-invent ko ‘yung sarili ko na puwede pala ako mag hosting din sa noontime show. Kumbaga binigyan nila ako ng pagkakataon,” he said.
Jayson also shared that he wants to do teleseryes again. He hopes that this will happen this year. He wants to act also not just to make other people laugh.
On the other hand, he reiterated the gratitude that he has for his home network now and he promised to do 110 percent in every project that is given to him.
Jayson Gainza is also doing a hosting stint now. He is part of the show with Kim Atienza, Pokwang, and Rabiya Mateo.
