MRT-3 Gives Free Ride in Commemoration of Rizal Day this December 30, 2022

The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) will give a free ride to train commuters this December 30, 2022 in commemoration of the day of Filipino hero Jose Rizal.

Good news for train commuters: MRT-3 management will provide free trips this Friday. The MRT-3 announced that the free ride is a special offer for all passengers in honor of the day of national hero Dr. Jose Rizal.

Train riders will be able to use it beginning at 7:00 a.m., according to officials. to 9:00 a.m. and beginning at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Rizal: Memories Preserved, Yaman Ngayon ng Bayan is the title of the commemoration.

“The 126th anniversary of the martyrdom of national hero Gat Jose Rizal will be celebrated on the said day. The celebration has the theme, Rizal: Memories Preserved, Yaman Ngayon ng Bayan,” said MRT-3.

“The FREE RIDE is in solidarity with the MRT-3 in commemorating Rizal Day. May his sacrifice remain alive in our spirit and continue to serve as an inspiration to us to do good for our neighbors and the people,” according to MRT-3 General Manager Engr. Federico J. Canar, Jr.

Based on the report, the MRT-3 goes from Taft Avenue in Pasay City to North Avenue in Quezon City along EDSA. The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) recently announced that on Rizal Day, consumers will be able to ride for free on the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2).

Meanwhile, MRT-3 stated that the careful implementation of health and safety standards known as the “7 Commandments” to avoid COVID-19 will continue throughout the line.

1 Always wear a face mask, and wearing a face shield is voluntary. ; 2 It is prohibited to speak and talk on the phone; 3 It is prohibited to eat and drink; 4 Maintain proper and adequate ventilation in PUVs; 5 Always disinfect; 6 Passengers with COVID-19 symptoms are not permitted to board public transportation; and 7 Follow the rule of appropriate physical distancing.
