Online Seller Arrested for Allegedly Threatening “Ninang” in Quezon City
Police authorities arrested an online seller for allegedly threatening a woman so-called “Ninang” in Quezon City.
Bulacan police in Quezon City apprehended a businesswoman wanted for two criminal offenses. According to the report, the culprit was apprehended by the SWAT warrant unit of the SanJose Del Monte City Police Station in the province of Bulacan, led by PLTCOL Ronaldo Lumactud Jr.
The combined forces of the warrant division of the Batasan Station 6 Police Station in Quezon City were involved in the arrest. Kimberly Ann Santos, 32, alias Kim Santos, an online seller, was identified as the suspect by Lumactud.
Kim Santos was apprehended on the basis of two arrest warrants for anti-cybercrime offenses and a grave threat. The arrest warrant was signed on December 12, 2022, by Hon. Judge Emmanuel Cacho Rasing of RTC Branch No.3 Baguio City.
When she was cornered at her home in Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City, the online trader did not resist arrest. According to Lumactod, Santos’ arrest was part of the ongoing operation under the Philippine National Police’s nationwide warrant arrest day.
The investigation found that the accused reportedly threatened Daisy Giliberte, also known as “Ninang ng Bayan,” with death. Aside from that, she exposed her entire family via his social media post. Because of their online enterprises alone.
