The world’s most popular boy band, One Direction is now one man down on its highly anticipated world tour as confirmed by One Direction’s publicist, Simon Jones. Zayn Malik is flying home to Britain and will no longer be a part of One Direction’s “On the Road Again” Asian Tour.
According to One Direction’s publicist, Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the United Kingdom to recuperate. Although the band is without Zayn Malik, One Direction will continue in Manila, Philippines, and Jakarta, Indonesia, as part of the “On the Road Again” tour.
Although Zayn Malik will not be part of the Asian tour of One Direction, the publicist of the boy band did not elaborate further whether, Zayn would rejoin the four other members of One Direction for three scheduled dates in South Africa starting March 28, 2015.
The departure of Zayn Malik comes a day after he hit back on Twitter at rumors of trouble in his relationship with fiancee Perrie Edwards of the band Little Mix after he was photographed with another woman. The One Direction member tweeted: “I’m 22 years old … I love a girl named Perrie Edwards.”
Zayn Malik was also one of the One Direction member who was obliged by the Philippine government to post a %5,000 bond. He and fellow One Direction member Louis Tomlinson were accused of smoking cannabis in one of the viral video posted online.
