Eight division world champion and Filipino boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will be one of the official judges of the world’s most prestigious beauty pageant, the Miss Universe 2014 which will be held this coming January 25, 2015, at the U.S. Century Bank Arena in Miami, Florida.
The announcement confirming Manny Pacquiao as one of the judges in the Miss Universe beauty pageant was released through the official Facebook Page of Miss Universe, as they revealed the names of celebrities who will judge the 63rd edition of the famous Miss Universe competition.
Aside from Manny Pacquiao, celebrities like TV host-designer Kristin Cavallari; actor William Levy, reality TV star Liza Vanderpump; and fashione journalist Louise Roe were also included in the list of official judges of the Miss Universe.
Earlier last month, Top Rank chief executive officer Bob Arum revealed to the media that one of his elite fighter, Manny Pacquiao will judge a beauty pageant this year, but did not disclose further the details of the contest.
This year’s Miss Universe competition, the Philippines sent Bb. Pilipinas 2014 winner MJ Lastimosa to represent the country and will try to continue the winning streak of the Philippines after her predecessors prominently figured out in the Top 5 of the previous Miss Universe.
The Miss Universe 2014 coronation night will be held on January 25, 2015 with millions of TV viewers from around the world anticipates the event.
