The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars kicked off on Tuesday, featuring the eight official entries of the highly anticipated movie festival in the country, showcasing the best of Philippine Cinemas. The MMFF 2014 Parade of Stars was held two days ahead of the Christmas Day opening of the eight official entries.
The annual Metro Manila Film Festival will be celebrating its 40th season, it will be held from December 25, 2014 and runs until the first week of January 2015. During the Festival, no foreign films will be shown in Philippine theaters in order to showcase the locally produced movies.
The MMFF 2014 Parade of Stars began at around 2:00 PM at Bradco Avenue, passing through Macapagal Avenue, EDSA and Roxas Boulevard heading straight to the historic Quirino Grandstand, at the Luneta Park.
Aside from the official eight floats of the entry-movies, the actors and actress of the eight movies joined the celebration as they greeted their anticipating fans who eagerly waited for the stars in the streets of Metro Manila.
