The highly anticipated premiere night of “The Voice of the Philippines” Season 2 this coming Sunday, October 26, 2014 will feature some of the twist in the country’s most popular singing competition. During the Season 1 of the competition, the Kapamilya Channel awarded the title to Draybers vocalist “Mitoy Yonting” while in the kids edition of The Voice, Lyca Gairanod won the title.
The Voice Philippines Season 2 will debut on Sunday at around 8:30 PM as aspiring Filipino singers and veteran musicians will try to showcase their musical geniuses in the country’s most popular stage, The Voice Ph stage.

The four judges of the original and Season I of The Voice will return to their respective chairs, featuring Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo and Apl.de.ap. The four coaches will be joined by hosts Toni Gonzaga, Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo and Alex Gonzaga.
According to the official announcement of ABS-CBN, the Season 2 of The Voice of the Philippines will have a different twist.
The Voice Ph Season 2 will introduce the power to steal an artist from the other teams. At the end of the Battle Round, each coaches will have nine artist who will advance tot he Knockout Rounds, two of which are stolen artists from the other teams.
Meanwhile, The Voice Ph host Toni Gonzaga noted that she is proud to be back since this kind of format is really close to her heart, this season of The Voice she also expects to discover more talents and going to be an exciting season.
