The movie “Annabelle” is now considered as the highest-grossing foreign horror films in the Philippines after the box office income results of the low-budget movie was released to the media. According to confirmed reports, the movie has pulled in more than P121 million in ticket sales in its first two weeks.

The confirmation of “Annabelle’s” box-office income was released by Francis Soliven, the general manager of local movie distributor Warner Bros. Philippines. The box-office income of movie already surpassed the previous horror-movie record holder “Insidious: Chapter ,” which garnered around P113 million for its whole theatrical run in the country.
Meanwhile, the movie “Annabelle” is also considered as one of the top-grossing horror films internationally. Film website Deadline reported that the box office income of the movie had already reached more than @122.4 million or around P5.4 billion as of Sunday.
The movie “Annabelle” is one of the masterpiece film of director John R. Leoneti, the film revisits the doll possessed by an evil spirit seen in last year’s horror-movie “The Conjuring,” the movie also garnered an estimated P60 million in box office income in the Philippines.
Despite the fact that the movie just got a 31% ratings on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, Warner Bros. Philippines is confident that the movie “Annabelle” will continue to its excellent box-office showing as the Halloween season ushers in.
