Vhong Navarro Allegedly Seeks Help from Politicians for His Case?

Cristy Fermin Clarifies Vhong Navarro Seeking Help from Politicians

Showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin clarified the rumors that actor Vhong Navarro is seeking help from politicians for his case.

On her YouTube show “Showbiz Now Na,” Cristy, Morly Alinio, and Romel Chika discussed the claims that the “It’s Showtime” host is looking for assistance from celebrity politicians. The persistent rumors that some politicians are meddling in the Navarro case were disputed by Cristy.

Vhong Navarro Politicians Help

Cristy even cited a newspaper article that claimed Vhong sought assistance from senators with ties to the entertainment industry, including Senators Bong Revilla, Lito Lapid, Robin Padilla, Jinggoy Estrada, JV Ejercito, and even Grace Poe, in order to appease those who may be harassing his camp due to the cases he is facing.

The hosts assert that this is untrue since politicians won’t volunteer for a case that can only be decided by a court. They claimed to be aware that no one is exempt from the law. They even cited Senator Bong Revilla, who was once detained due to allegations against him, who said that if there is truly a fault, the person who ought to be punished will be punished.

“Wala pong politiko na magsasabi ng kanilang opinyon na di naaayon sa batas. Hindi nila kakalabanin ang hukuman. No one is above the law. Wala pong kahit na sino ang mas mataas pa kaysa sa batas,” the columnist said.

It’s possible that the senators stated above only understand Vhong because they work in the same field. However, Cristy is stated to be certain that they won’t get involved in the case and will leave that to the more qualified authorities.
