Traffic Officers Clamped the Car of Councilor in Cebu City
Members of the Cebu City Traffic Office (CCTO) clamped the car of a Councilor for alleged illegal parking overnight.
A councilor in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City, unlawfully parked his automobile outside of their home, and the CCTO traffic officers were unable to recover it. When it was discovered outside their home on M, his car had already been seized. Mabolo, Barangay, Borres St.
Councilor Jaypee Labella of Cebu City was recognized as the vehicle’s owner. According to the report, the clamp on his automobile was released two hours after he paid the punishment.
However, the councilor complimented their CCTO for a job well done rather than losing control and becoming irate. The councilor claimed that we needed discipline if we were to become more like Singapore.
The councilor praised the CCTO staff for carrying out their duties in his social media post. According to CCTO Executive Director Paul Gotiong, this is simply evidence that Mayor Michael Rama of Cebu City is running a flawless administration.
No matter who they are or where they are in life, he claimed, they are serious about disciplining everyone. Even influential and powerful people cannot avoid the law.
