Badoy Denies Threatening, Red-tagging Manila Court Judge

Badoy Denies Red-tagging Accuses Against Manila Court Judge

Lorraine Badoy strongly denied the threatening and red-tagging accusations allegedly against the judge of Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC).

In her statement, the former spokesperson for the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC) vehemently denied making any type of threat against the Manila RTC judge. She was formerly charged with protecting and siding with the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CCP-NPA).

Badoy Red-Tagging Manila Judge

Due to Badoy’s popular social media tirade against Judge Marlo Magdoza-Malagar of the Manila RTC Branch 19, the Supreme Court threatened that they may hold her in contempt. Her tirade comes after the judge denied the government’s request to label the CCP-NPA a terrorist organization.

Badoy claimed in a Facebook post that she wants to make it clear to the High Tribunal magistrates that the claim that she intimidated and threatened the judge in Manila is untrue. She has made it her life’s work because, as she urged, she detests all forms of violence.

The terrorist organization, which is thought to be one of the causes of the unrest in the nation, was also not destroyed, according to her. She continued, she fully understand the serious warning the Supreme Court issued to her, and she would like to reassure them that she listening to their advice.

Internet users had earlier expressed worry over Badoy’s purported red-tagging of Malagar and threats against his life as a result of his words. Please be kind with her, she pleaded in the now-deleted post, if she kills this judge and does so because I believe that all CPP NPA NDF allies should be killed since, in her opinion, there is no distinction between a member of the CPP NPA NDF and their friends.

When the court stated in her ruling that “political crimes” rather than “deeds of terrorism” were the acts of the communist group that should be addressed with “leniency” by the government, Badoy referred to the judge as being unscrupulous and a friend of the CPP NPA NDF.

“No, this judge who is obviously a friend of the CPP NPA NDF has a helmet as thick as the helmet of the urban operatives of the CPP NPA NDF that she can step over the dead bodies of our children and pen this shameless decision to lend powerful support and cover to these terrorists who have stolen our children from us,” she said.
