JV Ejercito Slams Twitter Post Claiming He Impregnated His Chief of Staff
Senator Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito denied the Twitter post claiming that he allegedly impregnated his chief of staff.
The Senator on Twitter vehemently refuted the allegation that he was allegedly becoming a father to the child of his pregnant staff. Senator JV said it was a “big lie”.
“(Wag) kayo gumawa ng istorya dahil may asawa po ang tao,” Ejercito said, adding they are quietly working and should not be dragged into speculations.
“Be responsible,” Ejercito said on Twitter in response to another user who posted on Tuesday morning that the senator seems busy trying to reach a settlement with his chief of staff with whom he allegedly got pregnant.
The following was written on a Twitter account with the name @KingNginamo1: “Hahaha tahimik ka ata @jvejercito. Busy mag-settle sa nabuntis mong chief of staff? Lol.”
But the senator immediately refuted it. Even if he is used to becoming involved in situations of this kind as a politician, Ejercito pleaded with people not to accuse innocent people because they have their own families to defend.
“Nanahimik kami, ang nagtatrabaho, ‘wag kami idamay sa ganyang chismis. Kaming pulitiko sanay sa ganito, please (‘wag) niyo idamay mga taong walang kinalaman at may mga pamilya. Kawawa naman sila,” he said on his Twitter post.
Ejercito condemned people who disseminated phony news, which was purportedly done by careless social media users. He called the situation involving him and his chief of staff “fake news,” according to the senator.
The senator doubts, the attack on him is said to be a diversionary tactic. He did not elaborate on it. In another tweet, the senator also introduced her newly appointed secretary Meg Aviles, teasing his followers: “Baka siya naman sumunod na machismis!”
