Ogie Diaz Reveals Current Situation of Paid Trolls on Social Media
The talent manager and showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz revealed the controversial situation of the alleged ‘paid trolls‘ online.
Even after the election is finished, the controversy and claims about whose camp the “paid trolls” continue. Ogie Diaz, a talent manager, is rumored to have acquired information on paid trolls.
He recently shared the news he learned via a message on his Twitter account. Ogie Diaz said in a tweet that he had learned information about the purportedly hired trolls and that their numbers are reportedly dropping. He claims that some trolls have not been compensated because many of them are unnecessary.
“Balita ko, nagkakabawasan na raw ng paid trolls, dahil di na raw masyado kailangan ang “maintenance.” Yung iba, di pa nakakasuweldo, andami na raw nilang paninirang ginawa sa kalaban, waley pa din daw sweldo. Eh kasalanan nyo yan, sinimulan nyo sa mali,” Ogie said.
This is not the first time he has retaliated against his critics and trolls. He actually always does this, especially when they are accused of spreading false information. In a separate tweet, he had something to say about his alleged bashers.
“Buhay na buhay na naman ang mga bashers ko. Gow lang. Gusto ko, happy kayo. Para naman di kayo nganga sa work nyo. Ang tanong: nakasweldo na ba tayo diyan? O hintay pa din?” he said.
It may be recalled that in the previous election, various groups traded accusations of who had actually paid trolls to support their wagers. The issue of trolls in the Philippines first came to light in 2016, when certain parties claimed that former President Rodrigo Duterte had paid people to spread false information about him.
