Cherie Gil did this series that is not released yet
The late actress Cherie Gil did a series with Assunta de Rossi and Janine Gutierrez titled Unbroken Hearts but she was not able to see its release anymore.
Earlier this month, the showbiz industry mourned the death of the iconic “kontrabida” actress. Many celebrities reminisced the fondest memories they had with Cherie when they worked together in series or in movies. Celebrities thanked her also for the pieces of advice she shared with them.
Her fans also recalled the projects she did these past years. However, she still has a series that was not released, based on the article by entertainment columnist Jun Lalin in Pilipino Star Ngayon.
The said series was initially titled Sunshine Inn and eventually, it was changed to Unbroken Hearts. This was under Quantum Films of Atty. Joji Alonso. The production company is based in Hong Kong. Cherie Gil was joined by Assunta and Janine in this series that was filmed in 2017.
Lalin shared that as what they knew, this series was supposed to be shown on GMA as negotiation started but this did not push through. The columnist also shared that there are also other big names in the industry who are part of the unreleased series.
Most of the scenes were shot in Zambales and so the production took time. Lalin shared that he was able to talk to Assunta and this was one of their topics. The actress said that she hopes that this series will be released soon because it is a good project.
Assunta de Rossi also shared that Cherie Gil was so kind to her while they were doing the said series. The wife of businessman Jules Ledesma accepted this project immediately when it was offered to her because it was really good material.
