Judy Ann Santos visited the set of the show not only as a guest but as a co-host sitting in for veteran host Boy Abunda, who has been absent from the top-rating talk show for over a week now. Earlier reports revealed the Boy Abunda was hospitalized but no further details were released to the media.
The 36-year-old Juday joined the discussions in the show’s regular “Issue” segment, wherein the hosts will discuss the day’s news or other current events. The discussion centered on Ramon Bautista’s “Hipon” joke in Davao City.
During Ramon Bautista’s appearance as one of the guest celebrities at the Kadayawan Invasion event held last Saturday at the Crocodile Park in Davao City, he noted on stage that “Ang daming hipon dito sa Davao. Alright!’ he said. The word “hipon” is a local slang term for a woman has an ugly face but a sexy body.
The controversial writer and comedian Ramon Bautista was already declared by the City government of Davao City as “persona non grata” after his statement which he made during the last weekend’s Kadayawan Festival.
