President Benigno Aquino III now had his 2nd impeachment complaint over DAP. The student leaders from Youth Act Now filed impeachment complaint for graft and corruption over the Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP), betrayal of public trust or the violation of the 1987 Constitution.
The Youth Act Now together with its 25 complainants said that Aquino had transformed the amount of over 150 billion into his own pork barrel. According to them, the President had made an abuse of his power. It is stated on their 25 pages complaint.
At around 10:30 a.m., the complaint was filed at the Office of Secretary General House of Representatives. It was endorsed by Terry Ridon who is a Kabataan Party list- Representative.
Moreover, Ridon challenged his colleagues to join him in his endorsement on the impeachment compliant filed. According to him, there are still many things that people needs to discover about DAP.
Indeed, many complaints about Pnoy’s administration were raised after he had implemented the DAP. By which had caused so much trouble to him. However, what would be the result if people continues to question the administration of the President? Is is really the President who is corrupt in the government?
