Archie Alemania was asked about Gab Valenciano
Comedian Archie Alemania said that he is still friends with Gab Valenciano after the dance impersonation that he did during a campaign event.
Archie supported UniTeam while Gab is a Kakampink. During the Leni-Kiko sorties, Gab showcased his dance moves that later on, went viral. In one of UniTeam’s campaign events, Archie imitated the dance moves of Gab and this went viral as well.
There was a time that Gab shared the stage with his father Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and when he posted about this, his caption stated, “Game over, Archie.” Following this, Archie Alemania shared a post with his fellow comedian Gary Lising saying that they were already practicing for their performance.
Although the Bubble Gang star did not mention the name of Gab Valenciano, netizens were quick to conclude that it was the former’s answer to the latter’s post. In a recent interview, Archie was asked about the dance impersonation that he did, based on the article in Balita.
“Unang-una, wala naman kaming samaan ng loob. Dati pa magkaibigan naman kami n’yan. Wala naman akong masamang tinapay kahit kanino man,” the comedian said. He added that he has no ill feelings towards Gab and his family.
“Wala naman akong masamang tinapay kina Gab, kina Tita Angeli [Pangilinan]… I still consider Gab as my friend… Sa mga pagpapatawa ko hindi para pagtawanan ang ibang tao. It’s for people to laugh at me, not the other way around,” he said.
On the other hand, Archie Alemania admitted that he and Gab Valenciano haven’t talked to each other yet after the whole campaigning thing but the comedian believes that their paths will cross soon as showbiz is just a small world.
