Willie Revillame Gives Hipon Girl Advice As She Joins BBP 2022

This is what Willie Revillame tells Hipon Girl as she is set to join a national pageant.

Aspiring beauty queen Herlene Budol a.k.a Hipon Girl was discovered by Willie Revillame in his show on GMA. She was this funny candidate that captured the hearts of many people because of her humor and honesty. She’s known for her “squammy” expression.

And now, before taking the stage for the pageant, she was able to meet Revillame, one of her mentors. During their conversation which was recorded in a vlog, she was told by the Kapuso host to be herself and not act differently or something that she is not.

He advised her to study how beauty queens like Pia Wurtzbach, Catriona Gray, and Gloria Diaz became successful and learn from them. He stressed to her to “be yourself” and be grateful. Revillame even added that she’s good to go if she reaches the Top 10 or even Top 5 of the pageant.

On a serious note, he told her, “Wag lang mag-English bka pagtawanan ka.”

Budol, even before being told this by Revillame, already expressed that she will use the Filipino language in the pageant.
