Kapamilya love team Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo share the same group of friends and among those who are closest to them are newlyweds Patrick Sugui and Aeriel Garcia. And last April 20, Pat and Ae tied the knot and their wedding was attended by their celebrity friends. To recall, they got officially engaged last December 2020.

However, missing during the ceremony and after-party is the KathNiel and their absence was noticed by a lot of people. And in a social media post, there’s this one netizen that commented and whose comments ultimately pestered Pat.

The basher insisted that if they are really sincere, they would have done something to make their appearance because they are “KathNiel”. The comment encouraged them to just admit that they are not on good terms the reason why the famous couple did not attend the event. It added that lock-in taping as the reason is “napakababaw” or very shallow.

In a reply, Pat quipped, “pinagsasabi mo? Nasa lock in taping sila kaya wala sila. Nagmamarunong ka diyan? Close ka? Hanap ka ibang trip. Wag asawa ko.”

Pat also added that he had already asked their director to allow them to go out even just for one day for his wedding but it did not happen.

KathNiel is currently doing “2 Good 2 Be True”. Meanwhile, Pat and Ae’s wedding was held at the Forest Crest Nature Hotel Resort in Nasugbo, Batangas.
