Jinkee Pacquiao Claimed She Will Not Follow Imelda Marcos if Husband Wins
JINKEE PACQUIAO – The wife of Senator Manny Pacquiao assured the public that she will not be the next Imelda Marcos if her husband wins.
Jinkee stated in an interview with the Tribune that she will not follow in the footsteps of previous First Lady Imelda Marcos, who was known for her lavish lifestyle. Jinkee stated that being wealthy in the event that her husband, presidential contender Senator Manny Pacquiao, wins is not a concern for her.

The debate arose after some internet users compared Jinkee to former First Lady Michelle Obama, who also had an extensive shoe collection. Imelda Marcos, the late President Ferdinand Marcos Sr’s wife, is famous for her opulent lifestyle and love of high-end shoes, jewelry, apparel, and artworks.
The former First Lady was dubbed “Imeldific,” which means “extravagant show of wealth.” Meanwhile, instead of displaying her luxurious possessions on social media, Jinkee will devote her time to assisting the underprivileged as the first lady.
“Basta’t tutulungan ko si Manny dahil si Manny has a heart of gold. Busilak ang kanyang puso and walang gagawin si Manny na ikakasama ng mga tao. Nasa puso nya ang pagtulong,” she added, her beautiful face glowing with a genuine look of sincerity,” Jinkee said.
Manny, a senator and presidential candidate, had stated in November 2021 that his wife Jinkee will never be like former First Lady Imelda Marcos. The senator further stated that Jinkee will follow in his footsteps and focus on charitable activities.
Jinkee has received a lot of backlash from the internet because of his costly clothes, luggage, and jewelry, which he frequently posts on social media and wears to Pacquiao’s fights. Manny’s all-pink OOTD (outfit of the day) was worth PHP2.2 million for his bout with Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas on August 21, 2021.
