Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas has apologized over his alleged meltdown at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club after reportedly berating an employee last April 6, 2014.
Wack Wack Golf and Country Club on the other hand issued a two months suspension order to Mar Roxas on Friday, April 25, 2014 following a confrontation between him and one of the employees for requiring him to pay P5,100 for “green fee.”
“I have already apologized for any infractions or hurt feelings as a result of this misunderstanding over the payment of green fees for non players,” Mar Roxas said in an interview.
“It was not my intention to hurt or insult anyone, and I did not curse at anyone either,” he added citing reports that he allegedly shouted at the employee.
An report from Interaksyon.com noted that Mar Roxas berated the golf cub employee by saying: “T————–ina!. Walang presi-presidente sa akin!” “Walang bawal bawal sa akin,”

“Wack Wack Golf and Country Club… announced the two-month suspension of proprietary member Manuel A. Roxas II for violation of club rules and regulations,” the golf club said in a statement.a
The 56-year-old former senator is seen by many Filipinos as the potential successor of President Benigno Aquino III whose being rumored to run for 2016 presidential elections along with Vice-President Jejomar Binay.
Wack Wack Golf and Country Club which was built in 1930 is headed by president Philip Ella Juico, the husband of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Chairman Margie Juico. Mar Roxas has been a member for the renowned golf club for 20 years already.
That is what and who is Mar. It can’t be altered nor changed no matter how much pretensions he shows to the open. This man is an (removed) many of his supporters are living in ignorance.
