Sue Ramirez talked about her role in The Broken Marriage Vow
Kapamilya actress Sue Ramirez said that she is hoping that her “other woman” role in Philippine adaptation of BBC’s Doctor Foster will remain onscreen and will not happen in real life.
Sue was given a chance to be part of this big project of ABS-CBN. She gives life to mistress character of Zanjoe Marudo’s character. The teaser of The Broken Marriage Vow showed the intense scene between the characters of Sue and Jodi Sta. Maria.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Manila Bulletin, Sue Ramirez expressed that being the “other woman” has not happened to her in reality and she hopes it will not happen. “I really hope not. I mean, I have never been in a situation like that in real life, thank God and I sure hope na hindi mangyari ever,” she said.
The actress, on the other hand, stressed that she is not judging those who are in this kind of situation as she said that being in love can push other people to do crazy things sometimes. She added that she knows people who have this experience and so she understands what they are going through but she really hopes it won’t happen to her.
“Ang mali ay mali. Dapat alam natin yun. We should be able to turn our back from something that is ultimately wrong,” she said. When asked why she accepted the role of the other woman, Sue said that it is part of her job as an actress. This role will help her evolve and playing Lexy in the series excites her because of the challenges this opportunity have.
Sue Ramirez is also aware that she could be hated for playing the other woman in the series but she said that she has prepared herself for this. The actress also said that knowing that the audience has matured, they will know that what she is portraying is just a character in the series and it is not her in real life.
