Sue Ramirez always feels beautiful
Actress Sue Ramirez revealed the reason why she never felt “unpretty” during a recent virtual event for the whitening soap she is endorsing.
Being in showbiz requires hard work and talent. However, it is also a known fact that the face and physical appearance are investments as well. With this, Sue said that she always feels beautiful. For her, there was no instance when she felt like her she did not look good enough, based on the article in Inquirer.
“I have a strong support system. Everybody made me feel confident,” the actress said. Even though is it already a cliche thing to say, she believes that indeed beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
“I know it’s cliche to say, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You cannot please everybody,” Sue Ramirez stressed. She also said that it is all about self-acceptance and knowing that not everybody can be pleased. “Beauty is not a trait, it’s a feeling. It comes from within,” she added.
She considers herself lucky for not feeling insufficient. To those who does not have the same confidence as she has, she shared these encouraging words: “You are beautiful. Walang pangit sa mundo. Walang pangit na ginawa ang Diyos.”
On the other hand, Sue Ramirez acknowledges the importance of taking care of herself, especially her skin. She said that since her nature of work is very demanding, she does a simple skincare routine in order to maintain it to be healthy.
“We have different skin types, you have to check. Filipino women should have more choices made available for them so they may find what works for them,” the actress shared.
